1 cup husked (DAAL) green gram ,Salt to taste
1 tsp cumin seeds,oil at the end
6 or 9 Tbsp garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup onions, finely chopped use in the end
1/2 tsp chills powder red
2 Tbsp chopped coriander leaves- to garnish optional
Method Wash lentils till the water comes out clean.
Place them in a heavy pan with 3 cups of water,powder red chills , garlic and salt.Bring to a boil and simmer till cooked.
Heat ghee, cumin seeds.Add onions. to make Saute onions or garlic ( both can be use ) till brown, .
Mix well and add cooked lentils.Bring to a boil and simmer for about a minute.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
